Carbon Textile for shielding against electromagnetic radiation
Smogshield is carbon-textile, entirely free of metals and chemicals and is suited for many applications in protection from electrical fields and high frequency radation as well as for protection from interception of data transmissions and wiretapping.
Smogshield has extremely high shielding properties; in the frequency range of 200 MHz-10 GHz, 99,99% of the radiation is shielded, meaning, the shield moderation is greater than 40 dB.
Application Areas
Protective and Work Clothing: shirts, blouses, jackets, pants, suits, coats, underwear, hats. As protective and work clothing in telecommunications, military clothing, industrial protective wear and in many other areas where high shielding must be achieved with pure textile.
Home textiles: Room dividers, curtains, shielding of walls, ceilings and floors.
Bed textiles and sleep-systems: Shielding mats, shielding blankets, shielded heating blankets, etc.
Office and Industrial Sites: Shielding of computer and IT-Infrastructures for data protection and for data protection of computers and networks, industrial and military shielding against data interception and wiretapping.
Dry Mortarless Construction: For the shielding of walls, roofing and floors.

Low frequency electrical fields: through alternating current in cabels, installations, electrical devices, walls, floors, beds, overhead lines, etc.
High frequency fields: through transmitters from mobile telecommunications, radio and television broadcasting, cordless phones, mobile phones, interior antennas, radar, microwave units, medical devices, etc.
Statical fields: through synthetic carpets and curtains, synthetic wallpaper, varnishes, textiles, finishes, monitors, etc.
